Chain of Fools will return this month to rock the block!

September 2019 Artist of the Month

Maria Castellano Usery

Maria  was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and earned a BA in Fine Arts in 1994 from Hofstra University. Since selling her first piece in 1996, Maria has been consistently involved in showing her work in both group and solo settings. In July 2007, she decided to intensify her commitment to her art, and has since painted every day. When traveling doesn't allow her to be in front of her easel, she brings along a sketchbook.

Maria’s work has been described as joyful, fun, mystical, colorful, and uplifting. She gives herself up to the process and just lets things flow; subject matter is whatever grabs her at the moment. “There is plenty of darkness in the world already I try to infuse my work with light, love, and positive energy.”

Let’s dance again! Chain of Fools is back to round out our season with rock and roll!
